The Stocky shutdown timeline
July 7, 2025: Stocky stopped supporting inventory transfers between locations and min/max demand forecasting — the first features to go.
February 2, 2026: Stocky was removed from the Shopify App Store. Existing installs kept working, but no new merchant could add it.
August 31, 2026: Full shutdown. Stocky stopped functioning and every Stocky API call now fails — including any custom integration your store built on top of it.
Now, for at least 90 days: read-only. Stocky's reports can still be run and downloaded as CSV, but nothing can be created, edited, or received. Shopify treats 90 days as a minimum, not a promised end date, so export sooner rather than later. Any purchase order still open on August 31 has to be recreated in Shopify for the remaining quantities.
Your historical Stocky data won't move on its own
Purchase order history, stocktakes, and inventory records don't automatically transfer out of Stocky. Stocky is in read-only mode for at least 90 days after the August 31 shutdown so you can still export historical data — but nothing moves to Shopify on its own, and once that window closes, anything you didn't pull is gone. Supplier records are worse: Stocky has no export path for vendor data at all, so vendor relationships and contact details need to be rebuilt by hand in whatever you migrate to.
If you're not sure what you'll lose, export now rather than waiting to find out when the window closes.
